Morning in the Barn

WELL--- All is Great. Everyone made it through the night with No problems. New pictures posted... Murphy is so happy you can see him glow with it. This morning as we fed them- Lillie got in her regular spot next to Murphy and started chowing down on his hay-like normal. The baby got in between them. Lillie is letting her boys hang out together while she is not far. I keep telling them how much fun they will have next summer- Can't you just seeing them running and playing in the field?
Morgan will be our Pocket Donkey... You can tell Lillie has been worked with. Not so with Murphy- he is so very nervous of so much. We celebrate the little things he lets us do-- Like brush him, or get him to walk on a lead- or even come when called. Murphy loves his carrots- so we come with a supply when we work with him.

 We have started with Morgan -- things like playing with his hooves to be ready for the ferrier some day... he has his own foal halter that is huge on him...We play a game with him- like a dog and call him back and forth between us and praise him when he actually comes to the right person. And we just hug him.
